We were recently recognized again by the US News and World Report as having one of the top schools in the nation. This is a remarkable distinction for our school and we should all be proud of the accomplishments of the students here at Joseph City. Our students consistently perform well above the county and state averages on standardized test scores, receiving 5 straight years of recognition as an Excelling School by the state of Arizona. This is the highest distinction that the state department offers. Not only do our students do well academically; 93% of our student body participates in extra-curricular activities. We offer some of the best extra-curricular activities available to students in any rural setting. From music to athletics, our students rank among the best One thing I appreciate about the school climate at Joseph City is the commitment to continual improvement that permeates all that we do. Complacency is something that has not been part of this school and hopefully never will be. As we continue to serve our students and each other, we search for opportunities to improve our school, our methods of teaching, and the success of our students. We are always open to suggestions and value input from all stakeholders. We truly are committed to providing the best experience that we can offer our students. If you have any suggestions, would like to volunteer, or might even consider serving on our improvement committee, please feel free to contact us. We would love to hear from you. Sincerely,
Bryan Fields |
