Mrs. Petersons JH Art class was able to view the Solar Eclipse yesterday with a pinhole projector made in class, this is done by using a cardboard box, making a small hole with a sewing needle into a square of tinfoil. As the sun enters this tiny pinhole it acts like a tiny camera, letting light enter and projecting the images through to the other side allowing viewers to capture their surroundings.

2024-25 Kindergarten Preview. We want to meet the upcoming kindergartners and show them what to expect during the next school year. .
Earth and Space students working on a Sun Spot project looking at drawings of Sun Spots by Angelo Secchi 1853 - 1878 in Rome, Italy. Secchi was a Jesuit scientist that was fascinated by the sun and drew the Sun Spots he could see. By knowing how many Sun Spots there were in the years 1853 - 1878 and how they changed, scientists today can better understand the Sun Spots that are seen on the sun today.
