The JCHS Softball Tournament will be held over the next three days at Joseph City High School. The Varsity Softball Team will play at the following times and dates. Thursday, March 7th 8:30 am - Joseph City vs Ganado Noon - Joseph City vs. El Capitan Friday, March 8th 10:15 am - Joseph City vs Kingman High School 3:15 pm - Joseph City vs Globe The pool play games on Thursday and Friday will determine the time that the Lady Wildcats will play on Saturday in the bracket play. March 4th to the 7th is Reading Week at the ELEMENTARY school. We are celebrating READING with different dress-up days and activities because WE LOVE READING! Our Book Blast books will be arriving this week. Our Reading Awards Assemblies are Thursday, March 7. Please, take time to read with your children. What is your favorite childhood book? How did you become acquainted with it? Read, Read, Read, Read, Read!

Today 2nd hour Chemistry achieved Lab Independence - they can do a lab with out being given instructions or equipment, just handed a packet and using the materials that are stored in their lab tables and being creative and thinking outside the box and making things work. Using pH to create a Rainbow.

Logical Chemistry: This is a lab that will soon be available from ASU's Arizona STEM Acceleration Project written by Mrs. Bushman.

The First Round of the Junior High White Mountain League end-of-season tournament will start tomorrow. The 8th-grade girls will be playing in Mogollon at 4:30 pm at Capps Middle School. The 8th-grade boys will be playing against Blueridge at the Blueridge Elementary School at 4:30 pm. The address for the school is 3050 Porter Mountain Road Lakeside, AZ Good luck teams. The Joseph City Unified School District Science Fair is tonight, Thursday February 22 in the Old Gym. Public can view the projects from 6pm until 7pm. projects from 3rd grade to 8th grade have been submitted and judged. Thank you to Cholla Power Plant for providing the judges.
